Is John Elway calling for the NFL to lose its subsidies?

Hours before the taxpayer-funded Super Bowl, Denver Broncos exec John Elway appeared on Fox News and slammed the idea of taxpayer-funded “safety nets” like the one the NFL receives. Without such a charge, doesn’t the constitution obligate us to be asking huge questions about our government and, specifically, our president?
